Salinas Valley JACL proudly supports local students and educators through a variety of initiatives. Each year, we award scholarships to local high school seniors, recognizing their achievements and encouraging their academic journeys. We actively engage with local schools and collaborate with Japanese language teachers and students in Salinas to promote cultural understanding and educational enrichment. We also organized and hosted a National JACL Teacher Training Workshop, something that we look forward to doing again in the near future. Additionally, we offer valuable community service opportunities for students through volunteer roles at our events. Our ongoing efforts reflect our commitment to nurturing the next generation of leaders.
